Sintetic Project

Sintetic Project – Single item identification for forest production, protection and management – is a 4-year Horizon Europe project (ending in May 2027). The core objective of Sintetic is to set up and demonstrate a traceability system for trees, logs and boards based on ICT. The solution must be reliable, highly precise, and cost-effective. OptiForValue Advisory Board member Gianni Picchi is currently coordinator of Horizon Europe project SINTETIC dedicated to the digitalisation of the European forest value chains.
