D4.1 – Data collection sheets for non-optimized value chains

The D4.1 deliverable is part of Work Package 4, which aims to support the sustainable
development of novel bio-based value chains through the application of environmental, social, and
economic life-cycle assessments, taking into account multifunctionality and the hierarchy of
material uses. The purpose of developing data collection sheets is to systematically gather and
organize relevant data that reflects the environmental impacts associated with each stage of a
product’s life cycle. These sheets serve as essential tools for ensuring consistency and accuracy
in data collection, enabling practitioners to capture critical information related to resource use,
emissions, and waste generation across various case studies and scenarios.
