Value from learning – Europe

The focus of the Case Studies Integrated Results is on creating value from learning by combining results, methods and guidelines from case studies in Austria, Spain, Sweden, and Finland. This includes value from damage caused by storms, snow, and insects; value from resilience to climate change impacts (drought and fire); value from supply – policy and practices for a more cost-competitive and resilient sustainable wood supply; value from demand – to meet future demand for such a supply; for shared knowledge and successful solution implementation of these best practices in other European regions.

• Gathering and reporting learning experiences from all case studies, including challenges and opportunities to expand the knowledge acquired in each region.
• Exploring potential applications of the solutions implemented in other regions of Europe, as well as enablers for their successful implementation.
• Collecting insights from case studies, noting challenges and opportunities. Looking into how solutions can be used in other European regions and what makes them work well.
