OptiAgile: Agile value management

Lead by Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), WP3 OptiAgile’s overall objective is to develop the operational capability for agile value management in changing conditions, aiming to enhance value delivery for both industrial raw materials and public ecosystem services. The team will focus on four key enablers for developing agile management capabilities (i) sustainable operating practices; (ii) onsite wood log characterisation for better raw material matching to mill processing requirement; (iii) online log quality forecasting along the value chain; (iv) responsive operations scheduling for high-value mill delivery. These four enablers aim to enhance value delivery to rural industrial ecosystems while mitigating the effects of climate change.
